1.Following consultation with statutory and non-statutory bodies, the local planning authority has considered the extent of issues to be included and assessed within the Environmental Statement. Please note this response is based on the project detailed below. Any changes to the proposal may require a further screening and scoping exercise to be undertaken: Construction of a crematorium including memorial gardens, car parking, a new vehicle access onto Peppers High Hill Road and ancillary works. The local planning authority has identified that the associated transport movements, human activity and air emissions are likely to give rise to a significant harmful impact to the sensitive areas listed below, and therefore must be included within the Environmental Statement. For each, the description of likely significant effect should include direct effects but also indirect, secondary, cumulative, short, medium and long term, permanent and temporary, positive and negative. The affected sensitive areas are listed below, together with the information necessary to be included within the Environmental Statement: a. Thetford Forest SSSI b. Breckland SPA, Breckland Forest SSSI, Breckland Farmland SSSI, Weeting Heath SSSI, Grime's Graves SSSI and Wangford Warren & Carr SSSI c. Populations of SPA birds - namely stone curlew, woodlark and nightjar[] Necessary Information: - Preliminary Ecological Assessment and other ecological surveys and information to be specified by Natural England through their Discretionary Advice Service. - Traffic Movement data - Air emission projections - Hours of operation and number of services per day together with service room capacity - Landscaping Proposals The Environmental Statement should be prepared having regard to Regulation 18 and Schedule 4 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017.
